Course Overview

In this course, you will learn how to deploy NETGEAR Smart Managed Pro switches within a two-tier LAN topology step-by-step.  The NETGEAR Smart Managed Pro are  Layer-2 / Layer-3 switches with a web management user interface.

We will teach you how to configure VLANs, assign ports to a specific VLANs, VLAN tagging, how to make VLANs routable, to even Access Control Lists for filtering traffic between VLANs. We will show you how to perform several operational tasks such as doing a software upgrade and how to add the NETGEAR switch into a Network Monitoring System (NMS) using SNMPv3.  This is what we will teach you in this video course step-by-step to advance your skills as a network engineer.
